Dinner with Thai music and dancers.
Jan 31st, Wednesday
Morning tour to the vibrant floating market at Damnoen Saduak.
Tour to the Grand Palace & the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.
Dinner and show at the Calypso Cabaret at the Asia Hotel.
Feb 1st, Thursday
Depart Bangkok to Ayuthaya, historic capital of Siam.
View the gigantic bronze statues at Wat Mongkol Borpitr.
Continue to Wat Yai Chai Mangkol, & stop at Wat Chai Watthanaram.
Proceed to Lopburi to Prang Sam Yod (three sacred sandstone spires)
Arrive in PHITSANULOK.
Feb 2nd, Friday
Visit Wat Maha Dhat Phitsanulok with its revered Buddha statue.
Depart for Sukhothai then continue to Sri Satchanalai.
Visit Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat, which stands on Khmer fort, "Chalieng."
Proceed to LAMPANG.
Feb 3rd, Saturday
Visit Ko Kah to see Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Dhat Lampang.
Depart to Phayao & visit Kwan Phayao, Thailand's largest lake.
Drive to Chiang Saen, former capital, on the Mekong River.
Boat to Golden Triangle where Thailand, Myanmar & Laos meet.
Proceed to CHIANG RAI
Feb 4th, Sunday
Morning tour by boat to visit some hilltribe villages and hamlets.
Sail the Kok River to water shed at Pa Kaew Village and visit Akha.
Visit Mae Sai, northern most point of Thailand bordering Myanmar.
Feb 5th, Monday
Depart to CHAING MAUi. Visit handicraft villages & Thai Silk factory.
Kantoke dinner with a presentation of dances from Northern Thailand.
Feb 6th, Tuesday
Today visit an elephant camp and then visit an orchid farm
Farewell dinner at hotel.
Feb 7th, Wednesday
Visit Wat Doi Suthep, famous landmark in the mountains at 3,280 ft.
Flight to Bangkok.
Feb 8th, Thursday
Ddeparture.
